Jennifer Howard

Test Prep Tutor

My name is Jennifer Howard. I’m a Conroe ISD alumni and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oak Ridge High School in 2011. I received 5’s on the following AP Tests: Chemistry, Microeconomics, Psychology, Statistics, and US Government and Politics and entered my first year of university as a sophomore with my combined AP and Dual Credit courses, which included Calculus AB. I was a National Merit Commended Scholar and received a 34 on my ACT Score.

I received the following scholarships, which allowed me to attend university on a full ride:

  • Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum Founding Members Scholarship
  • Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Metropolitan Scholarship
  • President’s Honor Scholarship – Texas State University
  • Chartwells Undergraduate Scholarship – Texas State University
  • Lone Star Scholar Award – Texas State University

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University in 2014 with a B.A. in English with Teacher Certification and a minor in Spanish.

I was an English Language Arts teacher for six years with my last three years at College Park High School. I love to read and write, but even more so I love to see the pride and joy light up a student who sees how their own literacy has improved. I firmly believe that every person is unique and gifted, and, with the right tools, any student can set a goal, make a plan, and obtain the success they had previously only dreamed of.

When I’m not tutoring the best students the state of Texas has to offer, I love to ride my bike with my husband Thomas or walk my Australian ShepherdWatson. I love to cook and bake for my friends and family. I always enjoy reading a good book in my spare time (or when I should already be asleep, but I just can’t put it down!).
