Calli Bradshaw
Hi, I’m Calli! I’m a Houston-based educator with nine years of experience teaching students from Pre-K all the way through 12th grade with a focus on history and reading content. However, my passion isn’t just teaching content; it’s helping students discover that they are capable learners who can tackle anything.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in English from Angelo State University (Go Rams!), along with an AP World History Certificate from Rice University and a TEFL Masters Certificate. Recently, I have completed training to become a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist through the Neuhaus Education Center because I believe every student deserves a path to reading success. I’ve taught in classrooms in Texas and even in Shanghai, China, but no matter the setting, my approach stays the same: patient, optimistic, and learner-first.
Whether your child needs support building foundational literacy skills, strengthening their reading comprehension, or diving deep into history, I bring efficient strategies, genuine enthusiasm, and a whole lot of encouragement to every session. My goal is to help students not just learn, but fall in love with learning and applying what they learn in the real world.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, traveling to new places, reading a good book, or hanging out with my five dogs: Luke, Izzy, Sully, Sophie, Lily.
