Christy O’Neal

My name is Christy O’Neal. I am originally from the East Coast – Charleston, SC. I received my first Bachelors degree in Microbiology from Clemson University. I stayed on at Clemson working full-time as an academic advisor and instructor and received a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. I worked with traumatic brain injury patients right after school, but eventually decided I wanted to go a different route. From there, I took a job in clinical research moving to the RTP area starting my career in the pharmaceutical industry specifically pharmacovigilance (drug safety). We were then relocated to Philadelphia, PA. I had the opportunity to work at BMS, Astra-Zeneca, among others. I then obtained my Masters in Business Administration with a focus in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology from Pennsylvania State University. Lastly, after several moves to New Jersey and Virginia, I ended up back in Philadelphia to attend Villanova University and obtained my Bachelors in Nursing. I am a registered nurse and continue to work in Pharmacovigilance advancing patient safety.

I have a lot of experience with standardized testing having taken the SAT, MCAT, GMAT and GRE. I used to teach test prep through Kaplan Educational Services. My interests lie in fitness and nutrition. I love to be outside doing anything active whether that is running, biking, walking or hiking!  I adopted two children from India and they are my pride and joy.

My passion is encouraging others to reach their highest potential. I think we all have the ability to excel, but just need the tools and encouragement. My desire is to be your champion and help you achieve your goals!
