My name is Connor Bowering. I am studying Mathematical Economic Analysis and Global Health Technologies at Rice University. I’m from Spring and graduated Salutatorian of Klein Collins in 2018.

My sophomore year I scored a 1560 on the SAT and a 35 on the ACT. My junior year I scored perfect 800’s on the MATH II and Chemistry subject tests. I currently have a 4.0 at Rice University with coursework in Math, Statistics, Chemistry, Economics, and Engineering.

I have worked as a private in-home tutor for the past three and a half years in a variety of high school and college courses. Also, I have volunteered with the special needs ministry at the Woodlands United Methodist Church for the past seven years.  I am an Eagle Scout and received a Distinguished Project Leadership Award for building an all-accessible playground. In high school, I was a National Merit Scholar, U.S. Presidential Scholar Semifinalist, and a QuestBridge Scholar attending Rice University on a full-ride scholarship. 

I scored 5’s on the AP Exams for:

Outside of school, I like walking my RA’s dog, weight lifting, music, video games, and trying new restaurants with my friends,  I’ve made it to over 500 restaurants so far, so if you need any recommendations in Houston let me know!
