Nehal Sanant

My name is Nehal Sanant. I am thoroughly enjoying  being a mom of two young, energetic and beautiful kids these days!  Originally from India, I had a 7 year tutoring layover in Dubai, before finally settling in The Woodlands with my husband in 2017.

I have always been an educator at heart. I grew up teaching my cousins and kids in the neighborhood. Unbeknownst to me, this side hustle became a very serious gig and consumed me as I grew older! Over the years, I have tutored hundreds of students in subjects across the spectrum with Math being ‘The Chosen One’. I can teach numbers in the middle of the night! It’s a delight to see that Aha! look on kids’ faces as they break down complex concepts into simpler ones.

In my teaching career I have gathered domain knowledge of Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and Trigonometry, among others. I am adept at building customized lesson plans and developing a student-centered approach. I have covered the entire gamut – ranging from 1:1 sessions to group classes. I am wired to think like a math teacher, both within the confines of a classroom setting as well as outside. This wiring brings with it the urge to teach students build a problem-solving attitude in life as well.

Watching sitcoms, doodling, cooking, going for walks and spending time with family are some of the things that make me super happy!!!
