My name is Felipe Cortés. Originally from Chile, I have tutored for over 7 years in The Woodlands and the greater Houston area. I received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston in 2014. I started tutoring as a college student, and I have enjoyed helping hundreds of students achieve their goals in different courses and exams from 6th grade math, all the way to highest-level math college classes.

In my experience as tutor and as tutee, I have realized the benefits of one on one learning, and how that process allows students to gain confidence in themselves and provides feedback that helps them get a wider picture of the subjects being learned.

I am excited to be part of The Woodlands Test Prep team, where I can bring my experience and skills to guide students to achieve their academic goals, while also creating a safe and motivating environment, so they can enjoy the time spent during the process of learning.

In my free time I enjoy listening and playing music (mostly listening), spending time with my family and friends, relaxing with my dogs and learning about different cultures.

I look forward to working with students to help them get to the next level. 🙂
