Cody Jackson

Hi, my name is Cody Jackson. I grew up in the Houston area, attending high school in Richmond, Texas. I received my Bachelor’s degree in history from Texas A&M University in 2013 and my Master’s degree in philosophy from Texas Tech University in 2016, where I studied epistemology and ethics.

My interest in teaching was sparked when, as a teaching assistant, I was assigned my own Introduction to Ethics class. Since then, I have continued to support students in achieving their varying goals.

I got my start in test-prep services focusing on the myriad and sometimes convoluted application processes that many colleges and universities employ. This work included advising students on the best ways to present themselves to colleges through bolstering their resumes, essays, test scores, or even extracurricular activities.

Since then, I have focused primarily on test-prep curriculum for a variety of standardized tests, including the ISEE, ACT, and SAT. In addition to working directly with students, I developed digital and adaptive practice content for students to build their base of understanding.

As a lifelong learner, when I am not working with students, I enjoy finding new subjects to discover and explore. Whether taking a walk or doing chores around my home, I always have some podcast or audiobook on.
