Esha Chakraborti

Hello! My name is Esha, and I love teaching!
For the past two summers, I have been volunteering at Texas Girls State, a summer camp that teaches girls who are incoming high school seniors about government and politics. Part of my role is teaching them educational content about how our local and state government functions. It takes a lot of energy and enthusiasm to keep 40-50 girls engaged during these lectures.
Additionally, I love working one-on-one with students. I have been both a volunteer and paid private tutor during my high school years, and the classmate whom my peers feel comfortable asking for help. I love to explain things so that people can understand the topic, rather than just memorizing the pattern. There is a special kind of gratification that comes from seeing your student figure out a concept on their own.
I strive to bring patience, enthusiasm, and encouragement to every session. Every student has an inner superstar. My job is to give them the confidence and knowledge they need to let it shine!
