My name is Lucy Carpio. I enjoy teaching Spanish, math and natural science to students of all ages.

I love being able to make all subjects accessible and fun.

I received a PhD from Texas A&M and have more than 25 years of teaching experience. As a college professor my teaching philosophy

 has been to impart knowledge in a way that inspires the curiosity to learn more in my students.

I love tutoring because it allows me to customize my teaching style and the material to match the learning style of the student

to create  a most engaging experience.  I tutor biology, math, Spanish and environmental science among others.

In my free time I enjoy gardening, cooking and spending quality time with my grandkids. I also love the outdoors and traveling.
